About

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Comparative Human Development at the University of Chicago. I am interested in the ways individuals and communities define specific problems in the world, as well as the strategies they use to address them. My dissertation project utilizes both quantitative and qualitative methods to examine the field of Suicidology and the complex networks of knowledge production about suicide.

In my non-academic time,  I am a dilettante circus artist, a salsa dancer, and a maker of many things.
